Playing With Fire

Making a suspense thriller is theoretically proved to be playing with fire, but David does it right way. The high drama suspense flick comes with catchy tag line “In this game there are no rules”, making a beautiful analysis of seduction game, its aspects and binding them with a breathtaking story revealing twists and turns time to time. Many thrillers are brought alive and many die, but this one has the will to live and make us zeal with excitement the whole time.

Directed by David Decoteau, known as a director for low budget horror movies such as; Leeches! Final Stab, The Brotherhood, Morgana, Grizzly Rage and others. And now finally with this stroke of his, he appears to have scored the goal, as known to be linked with various aspects of movie making and business since he is 18, he casts a lot of expertise on every detail which can be viewed in every frame of the movie.

Matthew Jason Walsh, the screenplay writer who has been a friend and David’s companion in film making business for long, does create an entertaining and writes a brilliant story, the plot is ideally scripted lacking in no aspect. His experience for writing various screenplays from 90′s comes in use at this stage of his carrier. The wonderful effects and picturesque of the writer is brought alive by the ace cinematographer, Howard Wexler inducing a brilliance in the movie.

Kelly Albanese plays the gorgeous seductive young babe, Daphne who enjoys romancing young successful working men, and then when she desires she ruthlessly abandons them. This happens until she finds an opposing challenge, a medical student Nick (Kyle Jordan) who isn’t easily taken into her charming act.

Thus begins the game of seduction by Daphne and her friends, and to succeed in their intended plan they seek to seduce Nick’s girlfriend, Heather (Candace Moon). But things go terribly wrong, and Heather encounters an accident, that is when Daphne finds her world going out of control and she has to pursue the dangerous path, and set things right. Will she be able to find out who really is the master of this game, or will she succumb to their plans.

Susan Anton, ex-Miss California portrays role of Sandra Newell with excellence, having worked in a Broadway shoes and been nominated for a Golden Globe award for “Making Mr. Right”. Daphne is brought alive to the screen by Kelly Albanese; she has previously been on the hit TV show “Monk” and on soap “Desire”.

Nick played by Kyle Jordan has also performed in David’s and “Witches of the Caribbean”, and his girlfriend heather is played by Candace Moon who has previously in “Lions for Lambs”, the talented bunch of stars share a brilliant chemistry with each other .Blake Hood, Carrie Southworth Tom Sandoval, Michael Bergin everyone carries their own role skilfully.
